Tunertoys DIY manifold.
I'm thinking I should jet coat this sucker. The reason being is because I assume it will corrode and flake into the turbine, let me know what you think. If so should it be coated for 1500 or 2000 degress. Thank you!

its on Perfek360's little single came coupe. seems to still be holding. problem is it turns a funky brownish color everywhere it was handled before the manifold was used. best advice is dont touch it after you spray it, handle it as little as possible cause the paint doesnt set up til it gets hot. this manifold sat painted in my house for months.
before heat, at install time:
after handling and heating it up (running it):

Re: Tunertoys DIY manifold.
I wire brushed, then soakd my v6's OEM headers in a parts washer for a day.
Duplicolor 2000*F paint applied for 30m @ 450*F was flaking off & actually producing smoke within a month.. And that's just N/A LoL!
Unless VHT is better than duplicolor, I vote powder coat it, or don't do anything.
