Default is there any begginer welding classes

im thinking about at least getting the basics down and wanted to know if there were and city colleges that offered this or would i have to go through a welding program.

please dont talk ---- im looking for the easiest way to learn

The welding class has a prereq: Being able to construct a proper ------- sentence "Is there any classes" Nice.
Im sure one of your CC's has a welding technology class available... That or check ROP type availability

Yes, what a newb question to ask lol


check out your local 2 year CC's, and see if there are any schools run by the big welding names in your area. that's the best way to see if u can get into a good shop.

go to the american welding society website and look for the list of schools they support. if you are gonna take a welding class you might as well get a real certification rather than a peice of paper from a CC.

in NoVA (northern va CC) its 1day per week for 16wks, $1200 for in state students. i wouldnt expect the cost to much different elsewhere
