Default t3 hot side?
is the hot side cast iron or cast steel? I want to get one but it has cracks on the inside and was wondering if i can weld it.

Actually they're cast steel, and yes, you can weld it. It'll probably crack again though.

how can you tell if they are cast steel or not without welding it?

the hf mani is cast iron and the hotside is cast iron. i know cuz i welded them together.
