all you need is a butane torch, i dont think i even used one. Torch-$10, Vise-$30, more tools-priceless

Re: Steel exhaust hanger

thinner rods from HD will do the trick... and if that fails tack two of em together... then 3... and so on until it works.

Re: Steel exhaust hanger

buy some small ass tubing. light, can bend it easily, and works great!

G2turbo_terror 03-27-2006 07:24 PM

Re: Steel exhaust hanger

RRE sells 5 hangers for 5 bucks (last I saw) but you can also use 10" deck nails...which would require more bending.

BoosTedZSix 03-27-2006 10:48 PM

Re: Steel exhaust hanger

good looking out. they do sell them. but im pretty sure i can make them for less. I guess i really didnt think about just buying the metal stick ??? and bending it. plus i dont have to wait for it to come in the mail :y
