Started on some headers
2 Attachment(s)
I've started building a pair of headers to fit two T3 Garrett turbos on to a V6 engine in my trackday/drift car.
Using 1 1/4" stainless steel pipework. Righthand side tacked up for now. ::) Attachment 30922 Attachment 30923 |
Re: Started on some headers
damn... coulda atleast went with 1.5?
Looks like a pretty bad bottle neck approaching the flange... worse than a straight up log? |
Re: Started on some headers
Did think about bigger pipe but i cant get 1.5 only 2".

Re: Started on some headers
Nice project. Not the most efficient design, but should work for the outcome. Poor turbo manifold if better the not turbo manifold!

I had a think and went to a pipe suppliers and
Came back with some 1 1/2" pipework ;D So the pipework is now altered. The reason for the log type layout is the tight space in the engine bay. Also due to it being a standard engine the pistons aint that strong, so i'm not after a lot of boost 9 to 10psi max will do. The new pipework Attachment 30753 Attachment 30754 Attachment 30755 |
Re: Started on some headers
