Default Something Different

Hey All.

Been pokin around for sometime now and now it is time to make a post.

I am Canadan,

So this a 2006 yamaha atack that got smoked in the *** end and I got a screeming deal on it. It has the efi 4cly 1000cc R1 motor in it, spins at 10200 rpm and put out 150hp

I am going to put a reamount on it, a bigger track and climb up a few mountains.

I will try to keep posting on this, should be done in a few week............................. I hope

My apologies to the OP. Your punctuation was almost as bad as Teg2Boo's so I made a poor assumption. Where in Alberta are you? There are quite a few members in BC and AB.

To bad about my grammer it has always been bad, my welding sucks to, but I can blame that on my cheap *** overseas tig.

Thanks to all that have made a reply, I do not know if this is the place to be posting this but I feel really comfortable on this fourm and I am sure I will get some good advice here. The yammy motor is not to far different from a honda in the way it manages boost.

Nice thing about a sled is you can make some great power in sub zero temps, ever seen a dyno run at 25 degrees below freezing?

So I got a mounting plate fabbed up and a charge tube that is going to rub against my track, I will have to fix that. I also rigged up a degree wheel so I can time the cams after I plop in a head shim that will bring the compression down from 11.5 to 9.4

The turbo is someting I had from another project it 's a 2571r the one with the bigger intake.
