I know they do, I mentioned a few and their BS is partially why there is so little tech for Toyotas. I'm just saying that the average Toyota enthusiast I meet is a decent, hardworking, honest person.

most people who play with 22r's and post on the internet think you need to swap head, cam, and exhaust manifold to go efi, or else 'it wont run right'

I agree with JD, most toyota people just ------- sign cheques and drop their cars of at shops for months at a time ..... The nissan crew is 1000x worse those ------- guys wont fabricate ----. Evereythign has to be a bolt on affair or they ---- themselves.

heh, yeah. try to point that out to them sometime though.. i've been dropping subtle criticisms there for years that they are unbelievably DIY-unfriendly. i had some **** trying to tell me that the P75 ECU i'm using on my MR2 will make it drive like a honda and that i should either pony up and buy an AEM or sell my car to someone more deserving. there are few members on that forum that i think have a clue and whose posts i actually look forward to reading.. people routinely ask questions about how to do something like fix their injector resistor pack or where to buy an RPM switch and it seems like myself and others who know that you just need to yank one from an accord, or go on national.com for a datasheet of an LM2917 to build a $5 rpm switch post this stuff and no one there cares.

i shouldn't say no one. it's mostly the MKII MR2 guys. the MK1 guys are pretty inventive.

hey aaron, i still have pics of those CT26 to T3 adapters you made from the gasket i sent you if you need em. FWIW, mine's been on the car and boosting hard for a couple of years now and it works great. i used a standard greddy-style TD06 downpipe (made by brad bedell) and everything bolted up perfectly. i wasn't sure of the measurements for the thickness of the adapter plate, but it works perfectly. not sure if the knife-edged divider made the difference, but it's currently making around 300whp at 12psi.
