cheaper and faster to just T your gas line and backpurge. ive used i at the shop afew times and it works well... You pay out the ass for it, you have to get your alcohol and mix it. you have to clean it off afterwards. so that's more money in stainless wire wheels for a die grinder. more prep-time, more clean-up time...
my opinion, is that it some hose and s brass T save you money both ways you look at it. Time is money, and there's less cost involved in using it. my advice is avoid the shortcuts like that.
