Re: process piping for exhaust
the piping is definitely good enough to use for exhaust, but damn heavy

Re: process piping for exhaust
That would be about 15ga metal. I'd be really interested in a foot or 3 of it though if you have 3" (3.5" OD). I'm going to be making all-stainless cable-driven e-cutouts, and the Sch10 pipe I can buy is like $35-45 to ship a foot to my door.

Re: process piping for exhaust
yeah, no 3.5 inch.
they dont run odd sizes in the plant. i think that it would be heavy but im just going to use a 90 and like a foot and a half of straight. also, should i get a mild steel v-band setup or all stainless? cuz stainless ones are mad expensive. anybody got a 3" assembly lying around they want to sell for cheap??? o yeah, and talking about recycling, i snuck out 92lbs of stainless bolts the other day. slowly adding to my collection of scrap stainless. |
Re: process piping for exhaust
Do you have any 304 plate layin around? Id love some to practice my pipe to flange welds
