I saw pics of this car in the atl thread on ht. I also like the valve cover's evil twin (white with red stripes). I really like the hippie sun rays look.

 

I did the same thing. It took awhile to cover up everything, like the car/engine/fenders/front bumper but it should turn out pretty good as long as your masking job is straight. I used spray cans with a lot of clear and it looks just like the paint job on the car. (not as mirrored though) It took me about 4-5 hours with a 4th gen prelude engine bay

 

I was looking at it and saying to myself maan why didn't I keep the same color? I love the green, but I bought the blue by accident. so I am gonaa use it time for a change, I can get the paint put in cans for $22 each so I think 3 cans will do the job, instead of pulling my motor, because just put that bitch back in from the build.

 

if you have a compressor, get an hvlp touch up gun. they're small, and can get into smaller areas. or just do it right and pull the motor. either way i wouldn't get a spray can.

after a lot of thinking and looking at my financial situation, I've decided to keep car green, so I will not need to paint engine bay

 

good idea. just clean it up w/a steam cleaner. then wax it so it will be easier to wipe down later.
