Default Options to fix my radiator

So there is a crack in the top tank of my radiator on my EG. It's odd, cause when I found it, it was just bubbling not like an actual stream or anything. Kinda don't want to run it again until i get this fixed. The options I can think of are welding or brazing and thats about it I guess. Anyone know what kind of metal this is made of? I wonder if it is just steel, cause that would be really easy to fix. Hit me up with your ideas.

You need to figure out what its made out of before anyone can tell you how to fix it.

Looks like its actually made of plastic. I have a spare radiator that is junk, I'm thinking of taking the top tank off that and seeing if there is any way i can swap them out. Any better ideas? JB weld wouldn't hold worth ----, wonder if I could just take a propane torch and melt the two pieces back together...

Just buy a new one. They are cheap. Like $50 shipped on Egay. You will not fix it permanently. I would try JB weld if you can clean it well.

I always JB weld didn't like the heat cycles and usually failed on raidators, of course that was to fix one of the tubes where the fins are. It is worth a shot I suppose.

Just go to the junkyard and get one or buy a new one on ebay. The previous owner of my old Galant JB welded the radiator and it held for about a month after I bought it. Then blammo! It completely blow a big *** hole that was unjbweldable. Luckly I was only like a mile from my house but if you do alot of driving then it's like a ticking timebomb and who knows where and when it'll blow.

Yup same thing happened to me in my crx. JB welded the radiator was good for about a week. Ended up buying a used one for 25 bucks at the jyard

Dont be a dummy like I was spend a little bit of money I mean how much is a tow these days do the math. I ended up leaving my car at a gas station right where the radiator blew ran to the jyard and did the install in their parking lot. Good thing I knew the owners.
