Noobs Tig welding guide, this should be all the info you need to get started.
 
I cant believe this has not been stickied here yet, I am pretty sure someone posted this a long time ago, but I think it is some great info an deserves a sticky.

Somebody asked before on and I told them to check out Miller and Lincoln's website cause their really helpful. Not to mention I drive by the Miller TIG plant on my way to work everyday. There's like 3 Miller plants where I live and there's usually always jobs available there. I used to make the PCB's in their welders. Funny thing is that they say their made in the US but some stuff is made here plants here(Appleton, WI) and some in **cough**china**cough**. I went to a local car show this past summer and Miller had a trailer setup and had machines all setup for people to try. I got some brocheres and a bunch of other free ----. They even had the OCC miller bike there too. :P

Thats pretty sick man, we dont have events like that here, the biggest thing I've seen was the harley drag bikes come out to one of our CSCS events.
