Wheel Hop is Eliminate because the Stock Bushings are either reinenforced like in a 92-00 Design, or replaced completely in a 88-91 design. This is the main effect.

Better suspension articulation is found on a 88-91 as a Heim Joint has more freedom then a rod passing through 1" of rubber.

On a 92-00 the chassis is futher reinforced be adding the bar between the to front frame horns. It's like a Strut tower brace or tie bar. 88-91 might not be effected as much as there already is a crossmember there.

And more is gained in the engine compartment on a 88-91.

YAAAAR!!

Going from a Place crossmember (makes a lot of room, still uses stock radius rod configuration) to a Jimfab (aftermarket radius rods with Heims) on my CRX, I have to say I *miss* the extra room. Jimfab is pimpunit, but it has at most one red ---- hair more downpipe clearance than stock crossmember.

I like Heims + clearance. Nice.

Ya, I was fabbing them like Jim-Fabs ubtil I learned that when keeping proper suspension Geometry, it created proplblems with B-Sieres oil pans and did not offer the Ideal amount of space.

Place racing doesn't really address the traction issue, Just crates more space.

I cut down $11 worth of ES radius rod bushings and made up the diff in thickness with washers. Worked okay, but figured I'd give a true solidmount a try.

So it just gets rid of wheel hop? would this work on any frontwheel drive car? Does it help with traction as the name implies? I'm limited on tire width and need all the help i can get. 93 nissan Sentra

Depending on your setup. Are you looking for one? I'm unsure, but everything else is the same on a 91-93 NX2000 right? That my winter beater. I could take a look for you, if I fab one on it, I'm just unsure if it will fit.
