new welding toys.
well, setting up my house as a complete shop is killin my pocket.
i know i previously stated harbor friehgt for life, but after seeing this beauty i had to own it. hefty tag though. 280 bucks, but i wont go blind.
its the miller big lense elite hood autodarkening, and supposedly the biggest viewing window out, and has 4 arc sensors instead of the 2 on most helmets.
my victor medalist regulator, and 3 lbs of 308l rod. 1/16.
tomorrow the tig should arrive and i will be picking up my 92 cube bottle or argon.
and a new plate to bolt manis to. almost there. phewww

I really want one of those helmets, but going to have to wait a bit for me $$
The only problem I have had with the HF autodarkening is the fact that it only has two sensors. And when welding up my cage every once and a while I would get in a wierd position and put a shadow across the sensors and get a nice flash. Which sucks tyring to weld staring at a big blue spot for a few minutes.
