update: i've had a chance to start cutting the shell up and it looks like things are going to line up nicely. so far, these cuts are just to get an idea of how much room i am going to need. obviously i am going to need to cut more out for the tranny, but probably not a whole lot more for the back end. the rear was much more difficult than i anticipated, and the front was much easier.

same as the stealth shuttle, and jd's k-series powered anything.

 

just got the valve cover back from fresh powder coating... things are still pretty much at a snails pace otherwise.

i wanted something clean looking, but not too flashy or far removed from the original ap1 look. i'm happy with how it turned out. the plug cover is called chrome, (kinda satin finish) and i wanted the lettering to match the cover. what do you think?
