really nice car
also love your manifold :-) but arent those treats (spelled right??) bad for flow ? |
i dont know lol but its not like ama need crazy flow with that tiny ass turbo haha
|
def, hmt, hope it puts down the 450 whp you're aiming for, lol, jk
But seriously not bad and /i bet you've barely spent any money on this too, lol |
Is that welded cast iron? Didn't think that worked, but of course I'm new here. Any special welding wire for that?
Awesome wagovan btw. |
love it loool
|
welding on cast requires a nickel rod and its still not very structurally sound. over time from heat the welds are known to crack. but ive done it and not had a problem i believe it depends on the amount of carbon mixed in.
|
anyways nicely done home made honda for the win
|
if im not mistaken the pipe you get from home depot is galvanized. you must remove the galvanized coating before welding as it produces a deadly gas adn it can kill you.....
|
Am I missing something? Are you going to cut a port and weld on the turbo flange to the manifold at a later time?
