Re: My newest weld pics

I run the millery syncrowave 180sd (like 3 years old now but stick kickin butt lol)
I have a savings accnt that I am tossing 10% of all my profits into for a millery dynasty 300dx with full tig runner and water cooler (nearly 8000$ price tag yikes)
Hope to have that welder in a couple more months

Ignore my ignorance but Is there any turbo hangers going on? I've seen some turbo manifolds that have braces going to the engine side flange, and turbo to the block...

---- looks wicked though, nice welds. Are you a ticketed welder?

Re: My newest weld pics

with welds like that its probably not needed to have hangers... or braces

Re: My newest weld pics

i was kinda curious about braces for the fact of head studs holding in the aluminum... not really for the welds safety.

and bmc, ya did it again, DAMN!

Nope I dont have any certs or anything but that is cause I am to lazy to go and take the tests for them lol
I know I could pass the tests, just no time to

I brace 16 gauge tubular setups but this thick sch 10 (1/8" wall thickness) isn't necessary

Right on. I'm a 2nd year welder right now. I don't touch much tig seeing how we build service rigs from the ground up. All structural is Stick and Flux core. Then the rest is mig for ease and quickness.

I plan on branching off and doing my own thing after running my own truck. BUT back on topic. Your shits clean!

In a couple months, you will probably be limited to used ones. They have stopped producing the 300's, and are going to the 350 Dynasty now.

I'd reccomend getting a used one, or maybe a Dynasty 200.
