My New/First Welder..
Hope to learn on this.. layed down some beads on the scrap last night, no gas yet, and it works pretty daggon good imo!
It was $420 with tax locally, the $20 I would have saved wasn't enough to have to wait for shipping if I were to have bought it online.. http://www.streetneeds.com/uploads/auser/Welder1_.jpg http://www.streetneeds.com/uploads/auser/Welder2_.jpg ;D :D |

I did try welding a 3/8" NPT bung on my oil pan, which ended in disaster when I realized it was an iron piece and well, it doesnt work to well with flux core welding apparently, or at all, so I trashed the oil pan.. definitely seems to be a bit inconsistant sometimes.. guess I will be getting gas next :6 Yup, it did come with the cart, regulator, and mask etc etc.. |
Re: My New/First Welder..
i got the same welder from weldingdepot.com
love mine! i paid 280 for just the welder and regulator. i think my total bill including shipping was like 400 with all the extra supplies heres a picture of a valve spring compressor i made http://home.comcast.net/~jcushingdc2...1/site1210.JPG |
