my less 10min test pipe "mig'ed"
 
i had not enought time to do this because my boost had to go out today , only had like 15min and made this in like 8-9 min..

ill make soon my log mani mig welded, just looking order flanges to Weir tech this days!

hole saws and toches work well. torches are alot easier and faster, but you use what ya got!

and it's better to spend the $15-20 on a good holesaw, use it once and sell it to somebody else for $10-15 than it is buy a cheap one that'll cut a handful of holes. (cutting fluid owns)

I prefer the holesaw to the plasma cutter for wastegate holes.

A tip for noobie using hole saw's....if you think you are going to slow, go slower!

looks pretty good but remember to always aim for the thicker material, and go just a bit slower

Turn your voltage up, your wire down, Slow down and like racin tweek said concentrate heat on the thicker metal.... I just got done making some exhaust for a buddy, this is what your aiming for(minus the spatter...)

hehe dont worry will take more time to weld better , like i said above, i had not enought time to weld very well :-\

They should I weld 50 hours a weak :P just not on stuff this thin, or with a welder this small
