that looks awesome man
nice!
What's it going on? |
I made them for a RB20, from my understanding they will fit a RB25 too? I cant wait to hear them on the car & see how they peform
nice job. i see one problem. the head flange appears to be badly warped which may have an issue sealing.
Yes i was waiting for someone to see that, it looks quite bad but its only about 0.5mm deviation. Its a 12mm flange so it should allow enough to have it machined. Thats the plan anyway, the machine shop guy that looked at it couldint figure out how to clamp it he said he would have to weld some to it to hold it flat.
i figured. machinist is probably going to charge you at least 50.00 to do this. in the future make sure you bolt or clamp the flange down before welding. also only weld one inch or less at a time and move to another part of the flange. this will prevent excessive warpage.
I did clamp it down just diddint take my time welding it, Im really surprised you noticed that from the photo's you have a good eye lol. They also only cost me about $30 NZD to make them
Nice job with the merge colector
looks pretty good, good idea getting the flange machined too. what material did you use? it looks very heavy/thick walled.
Nice Work!
