Default modify a camshaft

i like to save a buck as much as the next guy but sometimes i get too gehtto, and i tried a search but no deals with that so i apologise if this has been debated before

ive built myself a t3 kit on a 90 integra 11psi, so everything im saying would relate more or less to what ive built

what if you take stock b18a cams and drill and tap holes in the center of the peak of each lobe....thread in a stud with thread lock and have the stud sticking out, round the end and check for peak lift on all lobes with a caliper

turbo cam?

You're better off re-profiling your cams with a file, like the old school machinists used to. It won't be worth your time, even if you work at McDonalds, compared to what one of the regrind companies will do it for... but that's not the point, is it

ya, i guess it would be quite a bit of work, but the hair on my *** stands up when i think about rockin 300hp on butchered basement cams, i think im gonna try drilling some holes in a extra set of cams i have, and mabe no tapping, just jb weld, i'll do one lobe and see how long that takes, then X16 and i'll see how much beer i have

what do these regrinds usually go for JD?

That's taking JB to a new level. ---- why even mess with an old set of cams. Just make some new ones completely out of JB weld!
