looking for some examples
 
lets see some pics of you EF guys gauge mounting.. i want to fab something up for my boost controller and wideband with out it being completely obvious like pillar pods are. and i dont really want to lose the pocket under the radio in my crx.. so lets see some pics of your mouting solutions..

I put mine below the radio last year, all flushed and fiberglassed

Looked great
But sucks!!!!!!!!!!! to watch your boost and w/b when there way down there

I think the best spot is either the pillar or the top vent modified

i have thought about the top vent but when i fially get it all back together it wil be my daily driver and i need heat in the winter.. but i have though about there though..

You know you want it on the pillar!!

My last setup fiberglassed into the bottom of the console looked pretty tits like I said, but after one year I couldnt take having to look way down. Keep them up high

i may end up with the pillar pod and just have to do 5% tint all around to keep it on the DL..

Or modify a gauge cluster? or the cluster cover?

Those would take some work but could be low key

thats what i ws thinking since i have a 98 civic cluster swap and i have one of the 96-00 civic cluster bezel things that fit dual gauges one on each side of the cluster i may try to make fit.

thanks for checking for me!!! were they like that when i came up? i didnt notice them but i really like the way they are set-up good visibility and not to noticeable to outside drivers..

OK here is the set up Its not super stealthy but it dosent look like a cheep a-pil. mount. Looks kinda stock if you didnt know what you were looking at.

hey, looks nice, ratcityrex. what year is yours? it has a rounder cluster cover....maybe 90-91? looked at an 89 dx today. 600 bucks, but it was rear-ended, and i know there aint ---- or body parts, so i said ---- that.
