less fucking swaps: more metal cutting, and welding

sick of seeing all the swaps.
put them in the general section.
i wanna see more welding.
more metal work. if your swap had some metal
work involved post that.

Perhaps there should be a 'swaps' section? I also enjoy seeing hard fabrication more than anything. I've been doing some metalwork for my Z lately, hopefully I'll be able to upload some pics and start a new thread here with some proper fab work!

d15b2 but soon to be d15b hopefully

cleve 08-03-2009 01:52 AM

damn!!! thats going to be loads of fun. how much boost/hp you hitting for?

josh19wrc 08-03-2009 12:48 PM

thats kinda pointless. A single turbo can create more than enough pressure. Diesels like pressure, gas engines like flow.

cleve 08-03-2009 01:42 PM

yeah but wouldnt it spool up a lot quicker being twin turbo (using smaller turbos) plus you would be able to run less psi, mean your prolonging the life of your turbos. just a thought, no sure if correct tho.

that just means you have two ineffective turbos heating up your intake temps really its cool to be able to make something like that but there really is no point on a d-series

Bi-stage 08-03-2009 07:12 PM

you all just be hating.

turbof22a 08-03-2009 08:48 PM

i am not hating on anything i thing its cool to be able to have the parts and time to build that its cool its just not cost efficiant specially if it is only going on a 200 dollar engine

snowdrift 08-05-2009 05:43 PM

all i can say is. good luck.
i've never really seen anyone tt a civic before so i give you props.
looks like you've got a lot work into it and i hope it works out.
I do agree with toyolla though. i think this section should stick strictly to the whole "fabrication" aspect as thusly named by the sub forums title. haha.

~.DREAMER.~ 08-05-2009 06:26 PM
