intake manifold design

2 Attachment(s)
so i had a spare p13 intake manifold and i decided to cut take out the iap completly and hollow out the inside of the manifold.

NOTE: im doing this before i get my f20b dyno tuned (stock motor I/H/E with gsr tranny). i want to swap out both on the dyno so see if this manifold helps me at all, if not then ill just put the stock one back on with iabs. no biggie really.

so anyway here is what happened....
Attachment 24589

thats little hole inside got exposed from grinding to much off obviously so, which leads to the iavc hole here...
Attachment 24590

so my question is, will this throw the iacv off and will this lead to any concern at wot and idle?

this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but you should get a hold of a Euro R intake manifold with all the goodies and pair it up with an s2k throttle body.

But, with the setup you're doing there, you would lose quite a bit of low end, but gain top end. The f20 already lacks the bottom end torque, but I'm guessing you don't need that much because you have this engine in a civic or integra?

Blacktrax makes some spacers that replace the butterflies. Those would increase torque AND hp all over. On a stock f22, 2 of the spacers increased it by 5whp and 5ft/lbs all over the power band. without tuning.
