We are dealing with airmass. Airmass is power. Flow characeristics mutate subtly as pressure/density changes, but for the most part plenum size dictates efficiency at a given power level. If you know your desired power level you can dictate plenum size for best efficiency. Not that I care about efficiency one whit, but it goes hand in hand with balanced flow between cylinders.

Linky links for figuring out plenum size? No dice in the past for me finding out juicy details.

nvm, not2fast saves the day yet again.

I've only seen one of their IMs, and it was a much more modestly sized sheet metal unit off of T-bone's old setup, 10 second NA streetcar style.

All I've been told about some of those big plenum units is they cover up the details of what's actually inside, and javier geek is a combo of brilliant and very shady - I'd worry about trusting money to him unless you were a Big Name Ricer whose car he wanted a JG sticker on.

Yah, being told that by a guy who was half of a two man team paid $2 million dollars for NASCAR valvespring R&D, had the world record NA NDRA street class time by a good half second in a heavy uncompetitive 2100 lb chassis he was too lazy to gut when power was so easy to come by, multiple BTCC team contracts to port heads for BMWs and stuff, very high profile in the Honduh and to a lesser extent Supra communities, yeah, fishy.

Or, maybe some people don't want to give away their secrets so they can be 1) competitive and 2) make money off being the best. Nah, obvious demonstrations of talent and the money in the bank that comes with it can't be anyone's motive in a communist culture like the USSA's. ::)

or, 3)create a secret to hide the fact that there's no secret?

come on what could be so secretive about it, since all the other companies are shuowing their IM in plain sight, plenum shape and all for the world to behold?

Like who? Skunk2 with their poorly designed pile of crap that people buy anyway because it is JDM? Or Blox, with their knock off of Skunk2 designs? I'll feed you rope, son, exactly how far do you plan on running with this?

It's a market driven economy based on LIES to sell product, which works because most people just buy car parts to be "cool." For the seven of us Honduh owners in the world who like to actually go fast it gets very secretive.
