The good kind is not some cheap ebay special. So i guess this is going to turn up as another stupid thread .Oh well. I was just wanting some ideas on how to brace a top mount manifold. A turbo and three inch down pipe is alot of wieght on the flange. And besides this top mount is heavy to begin with. Some help would be grate. Thank you

if you have to ask you will never know. asking that is kind of like asking how to tighten a bolt. you just do what looks like it will work.

If you got a welder, why the ---- are you asking us? Find some scrap metal and put some ---- together that holds. I would of would of took 5 minutes to make one, instead you waste a whole ------- day asking how to make one. Who would have a brace design for a top mount??? 99% of top mount built are all custom and are built totally different from each other.

Make a piece/strip of metal that will bolt/weld on to the manifold and find a place to bolt it up on the block. Make sure the metal isn't too thin. Look at the s2000 turbo kit build on here(it's only a couple of threads down). He built the best brace I have seen on here.

Why are you calling everyone Mr.?

i have a secret for you. Its not really our real names. we just made them up. so you dont really have to stick a Mr. in front of it.

and for your bracing I would storngly suggest using a nice ABS plasitc. Metal would be to rigid and crack your mani. deffinitly nice thick Plastic. Hit up the junkyard for some good Saturn Doors to use.

I agree that suggestions will be easier to make if the OP would post some pics.

Yeah, a top mount is a top mount, but it'd be easier to like, MSPaint some bracing on or whatever with an actual pic.

OP seems a bit on the lazy side though, so I have my doubts about this actually happening. :8
