I thought the angle wasn't enough, so i cut in the middle (not all the way through) bent it down a little more in an angle. Just was making sure I wouldn't have problems later.
BTW: I have access to a plasma cutter, but that is 3/8" thick and I don't think plasma can cut through that much.
