i had a set cbr itbs laying around so i put them to use.

so you welded 4 pipes to a head flange. woopity doo.

you could at least finish them, install them, and then post some decent pictures and such.

well allow me to stop you before you do.

dont weld directly to the ITB's. Use couplers and clamps. If you weld the ITB's directly on you're making a mistake. Heat warps stuff, you don't want to warp the inside chambers and cause your butterflies to not seal correctly.

Has this been proven? It might of been already but I've never seen it and I'm just curious along with other people who may think of making a set of these? Yes it "may" warp them but just want something more solid then just... I heard from my baby's momma's ex brother's inlaw half sister who had a sex change and overheard two guys talking about it in the following bathroom stall.

here's a set i built for a guy a while back.. i need to catch up with him and see how they run on his crx
i told him to get some shorter velocity stacks for it..

just seems like common sense. its basic knowledge that metal warps when you weld it.

Agreed. With the Tight tolerance of the butterfly plate to the Thottle wall, any warpage and your going to have more fun trying to tune the already ard idle of ITBs!
