The "Hit and Run" Manifold with Pics

Just Finished fabbing up a manifold that was originally going to be for an A/C compatible car. Turns out customer just wanted to keep his heater and thought that meant A/C as well ::). Ill update the thread tomorrow with some pictures of the downpipe and turbo and everything else. Curious to hear some feedback as to whether A/C Compatible manifolds are still popular and worth the effort. Without further Adue:

looks pretty good. I'd look into a diff way to incorperate the LSD logo on manifolds. cause that tig of the LSD right on the manifold doesnt look good at all. my friend jus got one of your manifold and i saw it in person :S. and after it got heated up from the exhaust. the "LSD motorsports" turned ---- brown.

Yea, most of the welded areas are prone to rusting. We will be getting stamps which will be tagged on in the future. As of now, the logo is welded in so people know who the manifold was made by for warranty issues.

Haha, theres a significant difference in pricing between that and our log manifolds, but if you want one, we can make it.

Just get with a machine shop and have them make you a little plate with your logo on it, and weld it to each manifold. For the amount of profit in them, it's worth spending about $10 to advertise your ----.

Well considering there arent really any drastics turns in it and that it uses a nice 4 to 1 collector, it would flow pretty well. Its not equal length, but neither are most fancy manifolds out there. Its fairly close though.

It looks really good.Thats is kind of a cool way to push the runners away from the a/c compressor

Angle the runner closest to the dizzy in, away from the fan. Make it a little more compact and a little sexier. Good job man.

By 3 guys and all of them have a conflicting interest in the manifold business, why am i not suprised. I dont mind getting contrcutive criticism or people saying they like full races welds better, but people who have no clue how to fabricate and just talk nonsense have no bearing in my world.

Looks great!
IDK about the A/C. Look at how many manifolds you sell to any southern states. IDK how fast the car is, it needs A/C in it if you're gonna live where it's hot.

You know you could always throw down $90 on one of the cheap powder coating guns, and another $30 on two colors of high-temp powder. Then you could powder coat them, and powder a nice LSD logo on there. But... That's an investment & most people doing this kinda ---- in their spare time aint gonna fool with something like that.

I've used high-temp powder on several up-pipes & manifolds. No problems yet...

I would never put something like that in my car. If I cant get my manifold off in less then 5 mins we have a problem. Props for getting it to work with AC, but sometimes making them look so radical is more a waste of time then anything.

Yea, it was just something fun to mess around with for a local guy. The top mounts are coming out soon and those come off in less then 5 minutes for sure ;)
