what do you guys use to cut a clean whole in hf mani to weld on a external wastegate? I got a tourch and could prolly get a plasma on it but i doubt theyed come out clean. hate to stand at a press drilling whole after consecutive whole in the mani. so whatya use thats clean and easy?

 

torch works good.

 

yeah, i figured it wouldnt be to clean and theres be alot of slag

 

i did AbaZ's with the torch, if you know how to use it, slag aint too bad, and I took a carbide porting bit and cleaned the hole up a little.

 

ill have to get the welding teacher to cut it out for me, its pressure washt the quiver bone not pressure was i think

hey now.. everything unbolts except the downpipe. Sheesh, dont insult me like what stealthmode did.. Welded Manifold/turbo/downpipe all together.

 

damn straight, those audi wastegates have a huge hole! haha

 

That setup looks nuts on the HF. How does the audi wastegate flow?
