doesnt matter how thick the flange it, it's just welding to pipe. 200 may weld the flange, but itll eat the pipe

Just bought a Lincoln SP175HD. Going to buy a tank for it tomorrow and will be trying it out very soon. I'll post some pics of how it welds. I've used the SP135Plus which is 110V and it would weld 1/4" thick mild steel no problem at all and was very good for doing thin wall steel. Only downfall was if you need to use an extension cord with the welder and were welding thick ---- you would lose some amperage and it wouldn't weld as good (that's why I bought the SP175 because it's 220V).
