fixing floor boards...getting better with fluxcore

Im fixing the floor boards on my new car. the passenger side is almost done...needs some more work along the side, then i have to seal the bottom.

It sucks!!! But im happy with how clean and sturdy the weld in came out. The same 85 amp flux core welder from HF i used to make my sex downpipe.

Any suggestions on how to seal it? Im thinking window weld, and then paint, and undercoating over it.
And how do i get the gas/hatch door relase handle out of there?

Thanks.

Its fun to put out small fires every 10 seconds from the sound deadening or undercoat starting on fire over and over again. ;D

the gas and hatch levers can be removed by takeing off that cover should be a little screw on top and then you will see to bolts on the side of the car that hold it on.

seal it with roof patch(thick one) and then place a clear plastic bag over it

^good idea. would you suggest doing this on top (inside) or underneath (outside) the car?

throw that car away for your own personal safety. I have 10 bucks that says I could kick straight through that patch.

oh my gosh that's sick nasty. even the cars at the junkyard don't have floorboards like that.

i guess good work on the repair, but why the heck would you want that as a "new" car? You get it for free?

how thick is that metal yours welding in...i hope its pretty thick since its not bent the same way as the stock ---- (strength) so i hope it makes up for it in thickness
