fibre glass front end

hey just wondering if any one out there has done a drag car fibre glass front end im buiding my drag hatch right now and from the verry few people that i can find that have done it have conflicting opinions. one guy i talked to said get the front end setup and make it look the way i want to then cover in packing tape ex. like clear masking tape then lay glass over that then resin and gell coat and paint. my other source told me to get it setup primer wax the living ---- out of it lay on some chemical then gell coat then glass then resin to make a mold then build wooden frame and lay my glass into that and build the shell. first one sounds easyer but if its gonna completely blow balls then ill make a mold i saw beau has done it but i figured would make a thread and see if any of you have experiance with it . any input is awesome. owww almost forgot

buy the nose, don't build it.

3x the cost to build you own nose.

not to mention look like ass

The companies that did make them dont anymore so your going to have to go the used route or spend 1500+ on a custom one
