ok go to sporting goods store, buy like 8 hockey pucks=$10.
go to hardware store and buy a coping saw, like 4 bucks, and some blades, dont matter what kind,=$8
buy some cheap knife from any store=$2
get some bolts like 5 inch X 1/4 inch w/nylon washer nuts and really big washers, 4 bolts/nuts per mount and 2 washers per mount. =>$5

take your old broken mount and place a blade inside it, connect blade to saw, cut out the rubber. take out what you just cut out and use the knife to cut away the rubber from the little metal sleave. clean out the rest of the rubber in mount with knife.

measure the inside diameter and width of the mount and write it down. take the width, divide by 2 and then mark on one of the pucks with that distance from the face, all the way around the edge.

then take the diameter and divide it by 2 and mark a circle all the way around on the face the distance from the center.

now useing a drill but with a diameter just slightly smaller than the metal sleave, drill a hole directly in the center of the puck.

then take your saw and cut into the edge untill you are about down to the line that you marked off b4, which is approx the inside diameter of the mount.

now take your knife and start cutting cutting down on the face of the puck untill you hit the cut you just made with the saw.

now do this again to another puck, HINT lay both pucks on top of each other and drill the center hole so they are both in the same place on both pucks.

now test fit them in the mount like the *mount* pic, get a drill bit the same size as the bolts, and drill 4 holes at the 12,3,6, and 9 o'clock positions. position these holes halfway between the inside edge of the mount and the outside edge of the metal sleave hole.

then put a washer on the bolt, put bolt into mount, put washer on bolt and tighten down nut, then use coping saw to cuz the excess bolt off. do this fro all the holes.

you know have a sweet RACING mount that you made for like $25 bucks divided by 3= $8 a pop.

i have been using a rear mount that i made this way for about 30,000 miles and it looks exactly like it did when i made it.

here is a little paint pic of what the it will look like, btw the 3rd pic is showing the inside of the mount.

i will get a pic of my actual mount in a few days.

---- that. Solid metal mounts. Hack off the section with the rubber and keep the base. Burn out the rubber and use the steel tubing that the bolt goes through. Then pick up some angle iron or whatever and weld the two together. Cheap and homemadeturboalicious. :6

Yeah I am not sure why you would go with hockey pucks. Just make em solid, it is pretty close to solid with hockey pucks.
