EF9 front end on a EF sedan?!?!
I'm really wanting to swap my EF sedan over to RHD, but I am having zero luck finding a front end to do it with! I've found a TON of EF9(hatch) RHD front ends... so I was wondering, if you all think it'd be possible to swap the entire front end off a hatch onto my sedan? I'm in school for auto body, so I have the knowledge and tools needed to do this, but I am unsure if it will mount up right... any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks Wobs |

Re: EF9 front end on a EF sedan?!?!
I would just import the SiR sedan but that would take to much paper work and money... I would love to have a true SiR though!

I would like to atleast drive a right hand drive car sometime. To do something like this wouldn't you just have to cut out the firewalls and swap in the jdm one?

take measurements of the sedan firewall and that of the hatch and find out if they can be swapped. or try using the schools resources and look it up. sedan = longer, hatch front end won't line up right. provided that you take measurements first, you could cut the sedan in half and weld the hatch front clip on there. personally I would look into swapping the firewalls and then getting a jdm 4dr front end. one piece headlight ftw! |
