EDIT: Scored a Smiley Tig/Arc on Egay, think its a good deal? PIC w/link.
EDIT:
Well I looked around and found this christmas special, ended up winning this welder, $182.50 normally they are alot more as you can see by his other sales https://i20.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/78/32/5472_1.JPG http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting Once this thing comes in, I'll be going out and renting out a bottle to use for Argon, then the practice welding begins, hopefully by spring I will get good enough to make myself a nice manifold, charge piping and exhaust, and offcourse a cart for the welder and bottle. |
Re: Looking for good Smiley Tig/Arc/Plasma

Manifold, Roll bar and misc crap here and there if I need to. Besides, I think its time to start learning how to weld. |

Now you're going to make me manifolds for cheap. ;)
Congrats |

Martin, You've seen our bottle sizes, They are M Size. For argon, I get the bottle free and pay for fills. But that because I know my provider well. Normally the bottle goes for 50.00/year rental, about 200-250 to buy, and 50-60.00 to fill them.

Congrats I want something like this since my ---- got stolen out of our shed (locked shed) along with my wastegate cuz it was attached to the mani, the only 2 things I didnt part out, also stolen was a bunch of my dads Dodge Caravan parts. Glad I kept the Supra turbo in the basement. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...is_83/51_1.jpg |

I bought that same welder too... called it the christmas special.. Dont know how it's going to be, but I'm almost ready to start welding. Just need the argon regulator, grab some tungstens, filler rods and make my girlfriend buy me a decent bench grinder for christmas. So that means, I gotta wait till the 25th to start playing... sucks I know! But I've just purchased myself an 80cf bottle a few weeks back and filling it costs me roughly $42 according to a welding shop in my area.
