okay a friend and I have been thinking of different ways to mount an intercooler to help air flow and get cooler air and we came up with this idea(keep in mind this is for the 1993 pontiac firebird) We were thinking we could cut the hood the width of the intercooler and mount the intercooler above the engine longways from bumper to windshield. Another idea was to top mount the intercooler and run a ram air system onto it.

dont do that. itll ruin the car...... try and find a nice and big saab intercooler like one i have. im in the market for another one so i can put my saab 9000 ic on my TA as well if i ever decide to boost it........ but please do not cut the hood......if you do ill have to kill as well as have Bitchasscracker jump in on this lol.... mount it in front of the rad. there is plenty of room for one. trust me. there is a lot of stuff that can be cut or rid of to mount a decent sized FMIC up there.

Sch 40 or Sch 10, I prefer 40 for logs.
1 1/2" pipe
Cheapest place isnt always the best. I use BMCrace.com flanges. The Log flange is pricey but worth it.
