clever
lets the one scroll operaton run better because of the slant instead of it just being blocked off. i still wonder what the clearances were on his setup. might just eyeball it and go from there. can't leak enough to cause a problem

Only problem is you got to have that extra room to fit it. In our maximas we got plenty of room when turbo is placed over the tranny. Even with a giant turbo

The inside is almost like ITBs except it switches between 2 sets of runners. 1 long runner set for more torque down low, 1 short runner for more HP up high.
Toyota call is ACIS but I have seen it on several different cars. Daewoo 1.6, Ford modular 32v, and some other ---- I'm sure has it. When vacuum reaches some point the valve opens and whoa-la you have a short runner intake manifold.
