yeah it works, and yes the Si dash does look really good. I just mounted my boost, oil pres, and AF gauge on it and they look great. I just cut 2.25" holes in the little slot under the radio and then used sheet metal to mount the af and make it adjustable. I'll post some pics

You need all the pieces from the CRX dash, cluster cover, consle, etc. You will also need the steering column cover from the CRX because it is different on the Civic and CRX

Re: crx dash into a civic

make sure you're putting a 88-89 dash in a 88-89 or a 90-91 in a 90-91 or else the gauge clusters will be different and you have to cut all your wires and re solder, it's not that hard thought actually. I found a good write up somewhere and did it in about an hour, swapping gauge clusters that is.

Re: crx dash into a civic

Biggest difference in the swap is the crx's use vacuum actuated heater controls, and every hatch that i've seen uses cables. The cable setup *should* be able to stay and fit in the same opening on the crx dash. Or if you want to get a little more creative, get a center console section from a 90 or 91 integra and modify it. That's what i did for my hatch, and everyone thinks it's a modded crx dash. Downside is that it's still won't curve towards the driver's seat like the crx and integra dash's.

the only realy thing that i am worried about is the heater vents lining up. i can make the heater contorl work. or switch the hole crx heater system if i realy have too
