Default Civic Convertible?

I am currently in the process of making my 1998 honda civic 2 door coupe into a convertible. Does anyone have any information on what kind of top would possibly fit my car? (aka BMW top, mustang top etc...) I have heard a BMW Top off a 3 series would possibly be close to the same dimensions....but I dont know

They are custom. I've seen one convertible civic. it was nice but the top was about 2500 bux or somethin, with all the custom parts to make it work... If you cut your top, just keep it in the garage, take it out on sunny days. but be careful, that makes the frame flex inward, you have to weld in braces and ---- (like a roll cage).

LOL, so you're telling me you're already this far:

And you're just NOW trying to see what tops would work? I'd say try something like a Miata...

I'd just put a plastic bag over my head and zip tie around my neck if that was my car.

I think thats the best option you have with a custom inlet to feed your exhaust into it for breathing purposes so you don't suffocate. Don't post pics cause I like my eyes the way they are and don't want to claw them out.

what a waste of a civic

but yeah if you're determined to finish the project, (and it's not your daily driver) then i say ditch the top. AC cobras don't have em. Although i think a civic with T-tops would be pretty sweet, or better yet a targa top, and you could probably use the roof off a del sol...
