Running a test pipe on the street is a hefty fine in places where they check that ----. In VA if you're east of the Shenandoah Valley they have emissions and they will impound your ---- if they catch you running a test pipe. Painting it gold is saying "Hey look at my clown ***!" West of the mountains, where I am, they don't give a ----. But I still run a gutted 3" cat.
