Default Bought some stuff.

Well I just bought a new die grinder, 6x48 belt sander with a 9" wheel, a box of spair belts, and an angle finder. It was cheap stuff at Harbor Freight but I use the same sander at the shop and have never had it fail so I bought one. All that stuff was only like $250

I also am buying a Miller Spectrum 375 plasma cutter from CoreyR for $700. He just doesnt ever use it and I will.

I also just ordered a JD2 tubing bender deluxe kit tonight. I got a 1 5/8" die and a 1 3/4" die for it. I also bought the bend tech PRO software. I paid $1329 shipped for everything. http://www.tricktools.com/bend_tech_softwarePRO.htm

I figure on needing 1 3/4 for mild steel and 1 5/8 for Cromoly.

Its time to build ----. No more ------- around.

I was at the track on Friday. The shop I do fab work for rented it for the day. I wanted to see some of my handy work go down the track. Well it turns out I have a lot of people wanting work after seeing what I do for the shop so I am going to rent some space at the shop I am at now.

Any ideas or opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

How good are those benders? Is there much distortion to the diameter of the tubing?

I was going to get the air/hydralic kit but its not worth the money from them. I can do it for around $250 insted of $800 from them. I got the stand and the bar with it. No frills.
