Default Bored at work

Got slow at work today, took some pics midway through a trailer...
Miller Delta Weld 451, .045 wire, 30.2 volts,
1/8" plate to 1/8" C channel frame.

Very nice for MIG. Just shows what a little skill and a nice MIG can produce.

This welder is actually a 15 year old welder IIRC. We will be getting boom welders very shortly, Yes the company is actually going to spend money . These welders use a 900 LB spool of wire that gets changed roughly every six months if being used every day. Heat and wire settings right on the lead, I can't wait to see how I can do with those things.

900lb spool?

the ones that look like a drum and feed through the cone? i've seen more issues with those ------ pieces of ---- than anything else. lol. wire is always cats-assing in them.

ESAB sucks at winding a drum. I used one and fixed the rats nest more than I welded.
