i need to get a bandsaw.. ------ hot metal dust everywhere

 

Chopsaw, bandsaw, arcwelder cranked up and blow through material

 

angle grinder... yomps...

 

i use dewalt shopsaw with abrasive blade, 4 in angle grinder, and sawzaw... if you cant do it with those, i dont need to be doing it...

 

i got one of those grizzleys but mine is a King.. cost me $150.. best money spent ever.

 

i just use a chopsaw and then clean it up with a 6" bench grinder and die grinder with carbide bit

 

Chopsaw works well if you have a good blade and a powerful one. Hf units seem to be underpowered.

 

i think the main issue with a bandsaw is getting a worth while blade, get the most expensive blade and you wont be disappointed.

 

anyone ever use one of those portable bandsaws for cutting flanges, collectors, exhaust, ---- like that

i was thinkin about getting one because it would be nice to use it on some ---- i could never fit in a $300 bandsaw like motorcycle frames and car parts. that are still on the car

true, i have both a Dewalt and a HF saw, they both get the job done, the HF just takes a bit longer
