Any place to get 3" donut flanges?
Ok well Im making a 3" downpipe and exhaust for my car. Its a 2.2 turbo chrysler. And it has the fatory 2.5" SV off the turbo with a donut flange.
Theres copanys that sell 3" donwpipes with the flange, donut, and beaded pipe. I need to know if there is any place what will sell just those three items. I dont want to buy their downpipe since Im doing my entire exhaut out of stainless for 65 bucks., and I like making my own ----.
heres a picture of 3" downpipe they sell. I basically need the first 2 inches of that, to weld onto my downpipe. I dont know if its a universal style hookup, or just chrysler specific.

I know what the wastegate assembly looks like, it does seem fairly specific. I'd guess that some diesels use a large donut like that, but for the flange I'd just weld a ring (or anything that keeps it in place), and make my own backing flange to keep it tight. The basic premise of that connection is to put pressure behind the donut, and I know from experience those donuts are very stiff - steel-reinforced w/aluminum foil wrapping.
