Any Fabbers around Phila, PA?

Any of you crazy fabbers located around Phila, PA? I need something done, but established shops want to charge an arm, a leg and a ------ kidney for work.

Re: Any Fabbers around Phila, PA?

anyhow, I need some manis done (probably logs) for my awsome v6 buick, and maybe some aluminum welded for IC piping

HMTguy 01-22-2006 12:33 PM

Re: Any Fabbers around Phila, PA?

Why do you want aluminum for your charge piping.. because it's lighter??

Speeder 01-22-2006 12:58 PM

Re: Any Fabbers around Phila, PA?

because it's much lighter then SS, yes. (and cheaper too)

In the 3 months since you made this post, Whitey has forgotten how to weld.

Re: Any Fabbers around Phila, PA?

lol. i keep buying stuff (pipes, welders, flanges (which i'm waiting for for 2 months now)) and i'm not getting any closer *sigh*. I don't have much fabbing experience and i'm lazy :)

I can't I don't have the time. Manifold builders are a dime a dozen now and all their ---- looks the same so there's plenty of people willing to do it.

Speeder 04-19-2006 04:15 PM

Re: Any Fabbers around Phila, PA?

sucks :/

my problem is since i'm makin manifolds for an engine that's not commonly turboed, i need someone local. Do you know of any people or shops that would be able to do it without charging $100/hr :)
