Aftermarket Intake Manifolds

My last 3 cars have been CRX's, I'm just getting into the mechanical aspect of things, and, although all of my friends drive hondas, i still have yet to see/drive an engine with one of the many available aftermarket intake manifolds on it.....I was browsing for a nice FMIC on eGay the other day to kick off the "Must Boost Y8" campaign ^-^ and came across a skunk2 manifold...I'm thinking of selling the Rex later this year, so I'm wondering if it would be a wise investment...the manifold comes to like...$300 CND w/ shipping and everything but, I want to get some info on some of the gains, and see what anyone on the site has to say about the Price....Good? Bad? ???

Whats your HP range?

Could actually hurt you performance wise if your"just getting into" the mechanics of the car.

100% you dont need an aftermarket unit man

Im assuming this is a sohc, get yourself a $30 y8 manifold from a yard (there are the best flowing of the d's) and port it. Spend a few hours if you have the time.

For a 210whp 10psi setup on a d16 that will only make good power until 6500, a big aftermarket unit will defientely hurt your powerband large

Go y8 for cheap, port it if you can or port your stocker or just leave it stock, not worth it for that power

You can spend $300 in a much better way, better manifold, cam, traction bars

You can always buy me a hood lol

pm me any more q's youve got
