So yesterday I was bored and staring at this parts truck I had in my backyard, i noticed it had a nice exhaust on it with some decent looking bends

http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._3482558_n.jpg

so 10mins with a grinder and the ---- came loose!

at that point I started cutting out the lenths and bends I needed.

$50 - pvc for the mother ------- win, 2" all around fits nice took 20min.

so now I need;

braided oil feed line
x1 2" coupler
x2 clamps for said coupler
5 bolt DP
chipped ecu with removed o2
turbo flange ------- thing to make it circular (compressor where I put the therm housing).
vaccum line
and to rig up a bov.

other than that shes good to go ; and as a joke I thought i'd try fitting the stock thermostat housing to the turbo, it fits .. wierd lol..

and voila, should have this slut running by next weekend cuz thats when I leave. I'll hve more update pics hopefully by then a perhaps a video.

if anyone has a cheap bov or any of the mentioned parts lmk wednesday ill have paypal ready! Thanks :)

-Marty

turbof22a 09-12-2009 09:50 PM

ill sell you a oem nissan silvia bov it will be easy to mount it just has a 1" or 1.25" pipe to mount it like the plastic bosche bovs just get a with that in it at homodepot and bam you have a bov

belowjobs 09-12-2009 11:57 PM

sell ... as in mail it to me for free cuz u want to see this thing going :D?

Dx 101 09-13-2009 12:28 AM

correct if wrong but isnt burnt/melted pvc really bad like ton-o-chemikills in it?? i just kinda remeber some one a while ago mentioning it. hope u have some left over exhaust pipe for the hot side of the ic atleast . remeber kids safety first

turbof22a 09-13-2009 12:41 AM

the black pvc should hold up ok for a little bit. if it was the white pvc i would say dont run it for very long but it wont hurt anything internally just the pipies will melt is all

belowjobs 09-13-2009 08:40 AM

ya? I got the flange for the turbo yesterday. Do you think it will melt internally? cuz im heat wrapping all the piping once its done.

silver1 09-13-2009 08:57 AM

I don't know about your pipes .put down here we have hot pluming PVC pipes that can handle 200*f all day long.

belowjobs 09-13-2009 10:17 PM

ll find out, I ordered an ebay intercooler/piping/bov kit so when ever the pvc melts my dad will swap that ---- in since ill be gone.

loweg4dr 09-13-2009 10:47 PM

slammed95Si 09-14-2009 07:57 AM

thats the smartest bored outta you mind moment ive ever seen lol very creative man ! looks awsome !

esi42 09-14-2009 08:18 AM

loL,I just noticed this. You could use that temp sensor as some sort of n2o trigger.;D

Instead of kicking on the fan at around 170 degrees, it fires off a 50 shot.

Turbo + N20 on a stock block FTW!! Ahahaha
