Ummmm have you tried club4ag.com? What do you need to do to it? Have the inlet on the other side? What exactly are you asking? ??? Is this in a FWD rolla or a RWD?

Re: 4age 20v turbo intake plenum...

i looked on club4ag as well but came up with nothing. maybe i didnt look hard enough though.

i am adding the ITBs to my turbo setup and i need a custom plenum made for my rwd setup since the stock 20v airboxes are said to leak boost.

there were a couple on ebay a month or so ago... but obviously not anymore.

I have a stock 20V one but I'm not gonna sell it. Are you looking for the aftermarket plenum for the 20V ITB for turbo? The company that sells it on ebay is from thailand I saw that one before they also sell supra plenums try searching the seller on ebay.

WTF!! Why is the brake booster/master cylinder mounted on the shock tower? :S

That's the thing, if you make it into one solid piece then you can't bolt it back on cause the bolt used to attach it back on are found on the inside of it.

Yeah club4ag lost alot of it's stuff when they made the new forum. They lost my how to make your own panhard and 4link stickied thread. :'( My first sticky post I've ever gotten.

I'd say just if your not gonna be taking it off just jbweld it shut. Pull out the rubber gasket between the plenum halfs and lay down a nice section of JB all around it and then bolt it back together or just bolt it back together and then just lay a nice bead all the way around but then the only way your getting it off is to cut the plenum in half. Personally I'd just use it the way it is and lay a nice bead of silicone all the way around and bolt it back together and start boosting.

Re: 4age 20v turbo intake plenum...

that toms plenum is for FWD right? i cant use it for a rwd setup, thanks though.

stillnoturbo: could you put me a whole 5 link together? or could you send me a list of what i could get myself the make it?

#rotor: im going to be bolting the ITBs to a 16v head. if you have access to a set of ITBs locally id buy a manifold from you if youd be willing to make one. it would just have to bolt to the open ITBs.

Re: 4age 20v turbo intake plenum...

Don't you need the adapter flange to bolt the ITB's to a non 20v head?

I had the how to on club4ag and midwest4ag but both sites bit the dust and had to redo their whole forum and lost all ----. I had all the sites and part numbers for everything needed. Dude it's been almost 6 months since I've messed around with hachi's and if I remember all the exact parts that are needed. Dude their easy as hell to make. Not to mention the panhard is like 40 bucks to make. 4 links were like 120-150 for all the parts. The 5 links you speak about I have no idea on how to make. That must be mega jDm ----. :P

"5 links" equal the 4 trailing arms and the 1 panhard bar.

where can i start looking for these parts? a hardware store like lowes or homedepot? what section...
i found some on ebay for just under 400 shipped, id like to save some money though so any help you can give me would be great.

myae86turbo: just out of curiosity... how much for that carbon plenum, and can you post pictures of all angles?

Re: 4age 20v turbo intake plenum...

Chris that Tom's plenum is gangsta. Surprisingly whenever their on ebay they go for reasonably cheap. But that's whenever their on ebay which isnt too often.

Fine, check out these place
Speedwaymotors.com
- this place has the tubing you'll need. I can't remember the length so just measure you oem links and subtract like 4-5" for the heims you'll be using and the adjustability.
- they also have heims but I don't like the ones they sell. They have the jam nuts you'll need since you need rh and lh threaded nuts as most hardware stores don't stock LH threaded ----.
- for the tubing, go with 5/8 for the 4 link and 3/4 for the panhard.
- http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/2087...t;-Thread.html (these are also perfect for people making traction bars!)

McMaster.com
- I used a cheaper($13)heim joint but I would go with these cause you don't want these to snap cause the ---- won't be pretty if they do P/N 4483T701 good up to 18000 lbs ($28) per heim and you'll need 8. I went with these and they worked fine. 2458K171 good up to 7000 lbs
-You'll need eight 5/8"-18 heims(4 rh thread and 4 lh thread) then two 3/4"-16(1 rh and 1 lh)

THe 4 link you'll need to buy a piece of tubing or a bushing to go from the ID of the heim to match up with the stock bolts. I just bought a piece of tubing from Mcmaster and just cut them and pressed them into heims and worked fine otherwise there's gonna be too much slack between the bolt and the ball of the heim.
Then the panhard is the only actual work I had to do since the ID on the heim is just a hair smaller then the threaded rod that is on the axle that it slides over. I just used a grinding stone and an air die grinder and about 2 minutes later it slide right on like butta.
-you can go all baller and get misalignment spacers to fill the gap between the heims and the chassis mounts. I just went to the hardware store and bought a box of washers. It worked fine and that's what I suggested in my original thread in Club4ag on how to do it. Misalignment spacers are nice and are what companies like Techno Toy Tuning use but that's why it also will cost you like double the price when your done. Just bring a bolt with you and match it up.
-Then just don't forget to slap on antiseize on the threads cause it makes it alot easier to adjust with just the twist of your hand.
Everything is pretty self explainatory once you get them and installing them. Just do one link at a time instead of pulling all 4 off cause your rear end will be all :S in the alignment. After I installed mine my rear end felt much more snappy and direct. Plus breaking the rearend loose came alot easier. Well that's pretty much about it. Let me know how it goes. I think I might still have a picture somewhere of them put together and then installed.

this heim you'll have to bore out just a hair cause i couldn't find one close enough
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ggahs003-2.jpg
the whole panhard installed
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ggahs001-3.jpg
only other shot I have of the 4 links installed
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ggahs002-3.jpg
The panhard I have in this picture is different and didn't turn out right and the final one I made is just like a bigger 4 link(oh and I didn't get the jam nuts installed in that pic either. I used one on each heim also)
