zif socket?
k with a zif socket run on the ecu board when i remove a chip i can crank my car up...does it run as stock ecu when the zif is open...and no chip?

you have to cut 'j1' that's located by the zif socket in order for the ecu to return to stock.

Without going through all that trouble and cutting the j1 say if we wanted to return the car back to stock. Could we just burn a stock map on a chip put it in the zif socket, and it will be good?
